Two Types of Members, One Shared Goal: Supporting Muka Theravadda

We offer two membership statuses to suit each person’s aspirations and availability:

Active Members: Ambassadors of Action

Active members are the association's beating heart. Their commitment reflects a full involvement in Muka’s mission.

• Requirements: Active members must pay a mandatory entry fee and an annual membership fee, which symbolize their dedication to a prestigious cultural network.

• Role: They actively participate in organizing events, projects, and committees and play a key role in promoting arts and traditions. They may also be appointed as committee leaders for specific cultural events.

• Responsibilities: Under the guidance of the Executive Board, they participate in the association’s activities in compliance with local regulations.

As an active member, you become a true cultural ambassador, contributing to the international influence of Muka Theravadda.

Supporting Members – Discreet but Essential Allies

Supporting members contribute with elegance and discretion to the association’s mission.

• Requirements: Like active members, they pay a mandatory entry fee and an annual membership fee, both determined each January by the General Assembly.

• Role: Their support is often occasional and expressed through volunteer contributions in various areas such as logistics (website), social media, marketing, or accounting.

• Flexibility: They participate according to their availability, making this status ideal for those who wish to support Muka without regular involvement.

As a supporting member, you offer your expertise and generosity to strengthen the association’s impact.

The One-Time Entry Fee: A Symbolic and Concrete Commitment

The entry fee is a one-time contribution, paid only at the time of your initial registration. It reflects your commitment to joining our community and supporting the association's missions—whether actively or occasionally.

But this entry fee is far more than an administrative formality.
It represents:

• A Personal Commitment: By paying this fee, you express your willingness to become part of a prestigious community
  and to support its mission.
  Through this act, you actively contribute to the promotion of culture.

• Essential Financial Support: This one-time fee directly supports the functioning and development of the association’s activities.
  It helps sustain our infrastructure and fund key initiatives aligned with our mission.

• A Single Payment: The entry fee is paid only once, except for a member leaving the association.
  If a former member wishes to rejoin Muka Theravadda after having left, the entry fee must be paid again.

• A Recognition of Value: It symbolizes the importance of your place within the association and the value of your contribution to its projects.

The amount of the entry fee and the annual membership fee is determined each year by the General Assembly and applies to all new registrations, whether as active members or supporting members.
